The Chicago office of Facing History and Ourselves will present its first Upstander Award to GCM Grosvenor in recognition of the firm’s longstanding commitment to civics education. GCM Grosvenor’s Paul Meister and Michael Sacks have served on Facing History Chicago’s Advisory Board for many years.

The Facing History and Ourselves Upstander Award is presented to those who are making meaningful change in their communities and in the world.

GCM Grosvenor will be honored at the Facing History and Ourselves Chicago Benefit Lunch on Friday, May 4, 2018.

About Facing History and Ourselves

Facing History and Ourselves is a nonprofit international educational and professional development organization. Its mission is to engage students of diverse backgrounds in an examination of racism, prejudice, and antisemitism in order to promote the development of a more humane and informed citizenry.
