In 2023, GCM Grosvenor combined the SEM Conference and Consortium, into a singular event with the sole purpose of elevating the small, emerging, and diverse investment manager community.
The goal of the newly branded “SEM Consortium” is to provide continued training and education to diverse and emerging investment managers and dedicated networking among institutional investors and consultants, who will gain a “first look” at top manager talent.

In 2023, we saw over 700 attendees come together to celebrate Consortium’s 20th anniversary in New York. By uniting with the long-standing Small and Emerging Manager Conference, the event not only sold out quickly, it embraced the energy and scope of a large-scale event with the intimacy of a one-on-one meeting.

The goal of the combined conference is to deliver the best-of-the best content by and for industry thought leaders.
